SUMMARY:Dungeness Nearshore Outreach Event
DESCRIPTION:Hands on demonstrations of forage fish spawning ground survey and beach seining. Both survey techniques are used to monitor fish populations along our shorelines. Come help conduct citizen science and see first hand some of the fish that call the Dungeness nearshore home! There will be viewing tanks and microscopes available to get a closer look as well as biologists to answer all your fish questions.\nAll ages welcome!\n\nWhat to bring: Rubber boots\, hip waders\, mask\, water\, snacks\, and yourself.
